All birthday party packages include admission to the museum for up to 18 children and 25 adults (daily admission rates apply to more than 18 children/ 25 adults), use of our party room, as well as help setting up and cleaning up!
Want our brand new, upgraded Tinkerspace for your party? You can have it all to yourself for a $50 upgrade.
Please note that especially Saturday birthday parties must adhere to our maximum number of attendees as the museum remains open to the public during this time.

NERF Battle Theme
Bring your own NERF dart gun or borrow one of ours. We'll have a backup supply of darts, help you decide on a game, and play referee. Even clean-up is fun!
Help us construct a prehistoric volcano scene and then destroy it with a science-y elephant toothpaste volcanic explosion!
Ice Cream Science
Participate in a liquid nitrogen demonstration showcasing the power of cold. Then, enjoy freshly-made ice cream frozen on the spot for the whole group to enjoy.
Spin Art Theme
Ride our art bike to create customized spin art using peddle power and creativity. Every party attendee takes their art home.
Never Grow Up (Adult Party)
Kids aren’t the only ones who enjoy the MOD! Adults get to play in the Museum while participating in any one of our fun-for-grown-ups activities like spin art bike margaritas or LED dance stage or Blue Block Battles. You name it!
Dance Party Theme
Turn the bright lights down, but the disco ball and tunes up! Use our special collection of costumes to get funky at a wild dance party.

Saturday parties take place while MOD is open to the public. Sunday parties are private--just your group is in the museum

Additional Information (aka, the fine print)
Cancellation Policy: REFUNDS MINUS THE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL BE GIVEN WITH A MINIMUM OF 7-DAY NOTIFICATION. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN WITH LESS THAN 7-DAYS NOTICE OF CANCELLATION.
Capacity: Daily admission fees ($10 per extra guest). Saturday parties must adhere to maximum numbers.
Duration: 2 hours in the party room (allowed 30 minutes set-up in room prior to party) Extra hours are an option subject to availability. 3-hr party runs 1.5x the cost of the 2-hr party
Staffing: 2 MOD Party Assistant. Extra staff is available for an additional fee of $50 per staff member.
Food: You are welcome to bring in your own food and cakes for your party. Please no popcorn. We can provide recommendations in the area if you are interested in ordering any items. MOD will provide refrigeration for cakes at no charge. Food must be served and consumed in the party room.
Decorations: You are also welcome to provide and set up your own personal decorations in our party room. Timing of set up must be arranged with our MOD Party Coordinator. We do not allow latex/ rubber balloons inside the Museum (mylar is OK) and request that tacks and nails are not used for decoration to ensure that the integrity of our walls are maintained. Tape is fine!
Gifts: You are welcome to bring and open gifts in the party room. However, please be aware that there is a specified amount of time allowed in the party room and there may not always be time for opening gifts.
Clean-Up: We kindly request that you have guests throw away their tableware before leaving the party room. And please be mindful of the ending time of your party so that our employees can promptly clean up the party room for the next event and/or closing.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your base party cost is due at the time of booking. The remainder will be due 7 days prior to the party.
